Antennas

External antennas are used for identification in places away from the scanning unit. They supplement readers EP400*,HT2008, SU104* and B104*. Scanner Z240* can only be used with an external antenna.

Antennas are of the same design (size, colours) as the scanners of the system BIS®. The range depends on the size of the antenna, its location and the identification items used. The range of the antennas is partially limited when there are metal objects nearby. Some types of antennas can be supplemented with a protective cover in order to increase IP cover.

When ordering these products, it is necessary to set the length of the antenna cable and the type of the scanning unit.

Basic types of external antennas

AEEP, AEHT20, AESU, AEB113, ADM9/ADL9, ADAM and EDA

These types of external antennas are set in plastic moulds that are of the same design as units from the line EP400*,HT200*, SU104*B104*. They are equipped with acoustic and optical signalling. Two-colour LED diodes provide the optical signalling. External antennas AEEP, AEHT20, AESU, AEB113 and ADM9/ADL9 are suitable where the unit may be stolen or damaged, but at the same time it is desirable to keep the same design of the access points. The design antennas ADAM and EDA can be placed in a horizontal or vertical position. They are designed to be attached to a wall or other surfaces.

External antennas AD3030 a AD3060

It is a duraplast antenna with two sizes – 30 x 30 cm or 30 x 60 cm. The antenna is 12 mm thick. Maximum length of cable is 5 metres. Antenna can be attached with four bolts. Holes for the bolts are located in the corners of the antenna, 15 mm from the edge. Thanks to the contactless way of identification, the antenna can be placed e.g. under plaster or in plasterboard. The range of the antennas is 30 cm.
